Sinopec has kicked off the second phase of its rural well-drilling project in Senegal. The first phase, launched in 2017, already delivered an impressive daily water supply of 110,000 cubic meters.

Now, phase two aims to build 85 wells, 89 water towers, 1,450 kilometers of pipelines, and 300 centralized water distribution stations. This will provide a reliable water supply to more than 2 million rural residents.
