Recently, Sinopec won five gold and one silver awards at the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva. Among the highlights, Sinopec Shengli Oilfield developed a groundbreaking novel deformable particle flooding agent for enhanced oil recovery. Plus, Sinopec Shanghai Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology (SRIPT)’s value-added conversion technology for ethylbenzene snagged the jury gold award.

This year’s exhibition attracted more than 1,000 inventions from nearly 40 countries and regions, providing the power of creativity across industries.
