Recently, the asphalt paving work for the steel deck of the Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge in Guizhou province, under construction as the world’s highest bridge, was successfully completed. The casting modified asphalt and high-viscosity and high-elasticity modified asphalt used in this project were all modified with the new SBS products of Sinopec, marking a new breakthrough for Sinopec’s SBS in high-end infrastructure construction.

The modified asphalt produced using Sinopec’s new SBS products can enhance waterproof performance and flexibility of bridge decks, thus improving the stability of the bridge.
