Waste materials are made into a miniature model of drilling rig. Recently, the SP-191 drilling team of Sinopec in Ecuador made a simulation model of drilling rig with scrap metal through a meticulous working process including welding, grinding and painting. The model clearly shows the core equipment components of a rig. What’s more, it can do movement with a small electric motor. This model will be used in training for new employees, helping them quickly learn about the drilling site and better understand the working principle of the drilling rig. It is an excellent example of the recycling of waste materials, embodying Sinopec’s commitment to environmental protection and lean management. #Ecuador #DrillingRig
