Sinopec employees working in the UAE have showcased their energetic and professional image at the "Hong Kong-Emirate Cup" of the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Challenge 2026 held in Dubai. The dragon boat racing event was jointly hosted by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Dubai and the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Dubai.

As the world’s first dragon boat race in 2026, the competition attracted 62 teams that represent diverse communities and industries from seven emirates of the UAE. This marks the fourth consecutive year that the event has been held in Dubai. Now it has become an iconic sport and cultural event with wide attention in the UAE.
