Today marks the Beginning of Spring. At a Sinopec service station, employees gathered to prepare spring rolls – a traditional food for this solar term. They filled thin wrappers with tender shepherd’s purse and put the rolls into the pan for frying until they became golden brown with a fragrant aroma of fresh vegetable.

Once ready, the warm spring rolls were handed to drivers and sanitation workers passing by. By "biting the spring", people feel the beginning of spring, as well as warmth and kindness included in the traditional custom.
