Welcome to Episode 3 of Silk Road Safety Guardian, where we introduce the employees who protect safety at Sinopec’s projects.

Fuzzail Sohail Ahmad, a safety trainer for the Saudi Marjan Gas Processing Project PKG11, Sinopec Fifth Construction Company (SFCC), has spent a decade embedded on the front line. Faced with a multinational workforce diverse in language and culture, he has proactively enhanced his multilingual training skills. Additionally, he has broken down cross-cultural barriers and ensured that safety standards are effectively implemented across the board.

Fuzzail successfully passed Saudi Aramco’s official Safety Trainer Qualification Assessment in 2023, becoming the first project employee to obtain this certification. Thanks to his and his team’s sustained dedication and rigorous on-site supervision, the project has surpassed 60 million cumulative safe man-hours.
