Congratulations! The construction of a water supply project for the Satellite Towns in Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT), undertaken by CGCOC GROUP, a JV of Sinopec Star New Energy, has been fully completed. As a signature project for public welfare among the agreements of the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (Beijing), the project featuring nearly 400 kilometers of water supply pipelines provides nearly one million residents with access to clean tap water for the first time.

During construction, the project team adopted innovative techniques to minimize environmental impact, created a total of over 1,600 jobs, and trained many local professionals of water supplies. With clear water nourishing this land, Sinopec is fostering a friendship that grows stronger through shared development.
