Implementing the low-carbon green development strategies, with priority given to environmental protection, Sinopec makes continuous efforts to improve integrated environmental management, promote energy saving and emissions reduction, eectively manage and control major environmental risks, ensure sustained development of the enterprise, and contribute to the nationwide campaign to prevent and control air pollution and the national goal of ecological civilization.

In 2018, Sinopec officially launched Green Enterprise Action Plan, the largest such campaign covering the entire industrial chain in China. Under the principle of “supplying green energy and promoting green development,” Sinopec is striving to become a clean, efficient, low-carbon, and green enterprise of circular economy by 2023.
