Li Dong, or Beginning of Winter, the 19th of the 24 solar terms in Chinese lunar calendar, marks the coming of the cold winter. Recently, Sinopec's first geothermal power demonstration project has been successfully connected to the power grid, which enables the project to supply geothermal heating and electricity simultaneously during the cold season. This is another success of Sinopec in developing clean energy such as geothermal energy.
