Sinopec Heavy Lifting and Transportation Company (SLT), a global subsidiary of Sinopec specializing in heavy lifting and transportation, has recently completed the domestic shipment of the bulk material handling machine in China. Weighing over 1,200 tonnes, the machine has been successfully transported to Tianjin Port, where it has been loaded onto a ship for delivery to the North Field South (NFS) project, the second phase of North Field Expansion project led by QatarEnergy. Additionally, SLT has provided on-site lifting services for three pieces of large equipment, including a 1,250-tonne crawler crane, to support the construction of the NFS project.

Since 2022, Sinopec has worked with Qatar on North Field Expansion project, focusing on upstream equity participation, LNG trading, and equipmemnt services. Qatar is one of the world's leading LNG exporters, and the NFE project stands as the largest LNG project globally. Moving forward, Sinopec remains committed to strengthening its energy partnership and advancing the project!
