On January 15, Sinopec launched its PIT Ultra supercharging facilities in the parking area of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. Fully equipped with the state-of-the-art liquid-cooled supercharging technology, Sinopec PIT Ultra is able to charge a maximum power of 600 kilowatts, allowing an electric vehicle to gain 100 kilometers of range in just 3.8 minutes—roughly the time it takes to brew a cup of coffee. 

“Power in Time”, or PIT, is the sub-brand that Sinopec has introduced to the Hong Kong SAR market. By installing charging piles in the parking areas, PIT aims to provide efficiency and convenience for green transport options in Hong Kong. At present, Sinopec Hong Kong has built and operates over 100 PIT charging piles across the parking areas throughout the city.
