In the morning, we came to the home of our Ugandan colleague at invitation. He taught us to cook the traditional Ugandan dish "Matoke" with bananas. Wrapped in banana leaves and simmered in savory sauce, the delicacy has a soft and glutinous texture with a rich, savory flavor. The Chinese and Ugandan colleagues shared the festive food to celebrate Chinese New Year, furthering their friendship and camaraderie across cultures.
