The Tilenga EPSCC project in Uganda undertaken by Sinopec has commenced the pipeline-welding!
The project is located in Murchison Falls National Park, the largest national park in Uganda, with a total pipeline length of 171.34KM.
Sinopec thoroughly studied and understood the local environmental requirements during the preparation phase of the project, taking a number of green, secure, and environment-friendly measures, such as using noise-reducing equipment, employing qualified experts, and applying real-time monitoring device for vehicle status detection.
Upon completion, this project will greatly contribute to Uganda's important role as a significant crude oil producer in the East African region, playing a crucial part in promoting the country's oil exports and fostering international energy cooperation.
