Sinopec, represented by Ma Yongsheng, Chairman, and TotalEnergies, represented by Patrick Pouyanné, Chairman and CEO, signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Paris.

According to the agreement, the two sides will jointly explore more collaboration opportunities in various business areas across the board, including oil and gas development, LNG value chain, refining and chemicals, engineering and trading, new energy, etc. 

Ma Yongsheng said that both companies will explore low-carbon energy cooperation, such as sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), green hydrogen, CCUS, etc. Patrick Pouyanné expressed that the company is pleased to reinforce its partnership with SINOPEC in multi-energy fields.
